FIGISM #12: Travel far, wide and often

Moab. Portland. Italy. Seattle. Florida. Lake Powell. Ireland. Mexico. France. These are just a few of the diverse and individually incredible places the FIGs traveled to in 2016. We believe travel is an essential life experience that brings us closer to our FIG Values of Joy, Health and Wellness. Travel is not necessarily the same as ‘vacation’ but instead encompasses a wealth of experiences, from business travel, volunteer trips and outdoor adventures to honeymoons, friend-cations and visits back home.

There are many reasons we have a generous paid vacation policy at FIG, one of them being an appreciation and passion for the adventurous traveler spirit in our employees (and those we hope to attract). The kind of people who like to scuba dive, climb mountains, pack a gourmet meal and coolers full of wine and beer to a yurt in Utah, drink rosé on the beaches of France, or get lost wandering the streets of a medieval lrish city, are the type of people we want to work with every day. As the cliché goes, travel is truly the only thing you can buy that makes you richer!
